Share the badge, take the time to understand
As part of our migraine awareness efforts let’s make it time well spent by truly understanding what it means to live with migraine.
Show your support by sharing the Migraine Awareness Badge on your LinkedIn and Instagram profiles and take a moment to understand when someone tells you, "I have a migraine."
Keep an eye out for more migraine awareness content on Lundbeck’s social media channels - especially LinkedIn - this September and beyond. Among other things, we’ll share key facts about migraine and amplify the voices of colleagues living with migraine speaking about stigma, what they wish others understood, and what support in the workplace could look like.
Why a Migraine Awareness Badge?
Our badge exists to encourage a more supportive and understanding approach toward people living with migraine.
Oftentimes, persons with migraine - a debilitating and chronic disease - are met with well-meaning but unsolicited advice from friends, family, or colleagues. For those affected, this can feel insensitive, dismissive, or unsettling.
These reactions usually stem from a lack of knowledge and understanding of the disease - never from ill will or bad intent.
That’s why this year we say it’s #TimeToUnderstanMigraine. By taking the time to listen, learn, and respond with empathy, we can create better interactions built on knowledge, insight, and true understanding.
